The Hollowkin are a mysterious race born from souls that refused to pass on. When enough lingering memories gather in a place touched by magic, they can form a new being: a Hollowkin.

Rather than possessing a single soul, each Hollowkin contains fragments of many forgotten lives. Most people find them unsettling at first. Their voices occasionally shift in tone, they sometimes remember events they never experienced, and their eyes often contain faint echoes of faces that vanish when looked at directly. Unlike undead, Hollowkin are fully alive. They eat, sleep, dream, and feel emotion just as intensely as any other people.
