The Revenant Ascendant is not a class chosen at character creation. It is something that replaces your character after they die—when death does not fully accept them. This class assumes the original character is dead. Their body is reanimated or reconstituted by lingering will, unfinished fate, or external necromantic interference (DM choice).
What remains is a continuation, not a replacement. Mechanically, this class is used from level 1–20 after death, scaling as a full progression system.
